I'm pretty emotional and often get caught up in the moment watching movies or television shows.

I remember making fun of a buddy of mine when he told me he cried during "Armageddon". This scene was the last straw for me!

Legends of the Fall Too many moments in this movie make me cry.

"Brian's Song" - yes, I know it's pretty old!

Of course, I get chills and tears when I watch TBDBITL performing Script Ohio! This is the quad Script with the Alumni Band and John & Annie Glenn dotting the I.

Life is Beautiful. That movie makes me cry every single time. It is an incredible movie. Also, P.S. I Love You made me cry buckets. And the movie Fireproof made me cry a couple times. Not all of the acting is spectacular, but a couple of moments in the movie are very powerful.

Lost. Lost did this to me twice:

1. When Bernard found Rose. She had saved him a chocolate bar and everything, because she knew he had a sweet tooth.

2. When Charlie died. Man alive, that still makes me sob every time I see it! Funny thing, just checking this video to post it here and my eyes filled with tears. For real. That kind of sad.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Video Explanation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's the background: Charlie and Desmond (good guys) are in an underwater bunker to flip a switch allowing the crash survivors to call for help. Unexpectedly, Charlie receives a video transmission from Penny, Desmond's long lost love who's been searching the world for him.

When Charlie sees the grenade activated, he knows that the whole bunker will be flooded. So he sacrifices himself, saving Desmond so that he might have a chance to see Penny again. With Charlie's last moments of life, he gives Desmond a very grave and important warning that will save the life of every person on the Island: "Not Penny's Boat".

(to skip to the sad part, skip to 2:06. I start to openly cry around 3:55)

Oh I know. I must resist clicking it all day. It never gets any easier to watch.

The only thing stopping me from crying over Juliet is the hope that maybe somehow she didn't die. Otherwise I'll be sobbing over repeat viewings.

Oh, I know - what about when Sun watched Jin "die" in the explosion? Her crying out in the helicopter unable to reach him? Her screams of grief are gut wrenching.

Good show, and you are right that is a sad scene, but I don't think I cried at it.

Well then there's something about that music that just tugs at the estrogen in my body. You clearly never fell for Charlie Pace. ;)

The scene below in Futurama. In this episode, Fry finds his fossilized dog, Seymour Asses, and attempts to clone him. He finally gives up, and says that Seymour probably didn't give him another thought after Fry disappeared. It turns out that he waited for him until the day he died. Gets me every time...

I am legend, where the dog dies. Personal circumstances made me reflect and cry (or at least feel very, very sad).

For me it is the Notebook. This movie is a tear jerker and a half when you realize what it is about. In the movie we see an elderly man reading to an elderly woman. He knows her, yet she thinks he is just someone who comes to read to her.

Actually it is her husband, but she has Alzheimer's and forgets who he is most of the time. He is reading their story, sometimes she remembers it is their story and it brings her back to him for brief moments only.

The ending well hand me the Kleenex, is all I will say. Some day I hope to find a love that lasts like that, so wholesome and true. Their story is an awesome one, they seem to be drawn to each other in so many ways. It's the classic poor boy meets rich girl thing here...

I've been a sucker for the public servant types who *SPOILER ALERT* DIE at the end of the movie.

Two come to mind immediately:

Backdraft
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101393/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMDTLH2YEGY

and Ladder 49
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349710/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpU7gzT6CdM

I can't watch those movies without shedding a tear at the scenes just after the hero dies.

Also, some movies that deal with "mental irregularity" have occasionally elicited a tear or two.

Some that I can think of immediately are:

A Beautiful Mind

I Am Sam
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0277027/

Personal experience.
