Haven't read any actual reviews from anyone who's seen a cut. However, I think the trailer looks pretty badass, and I'm enough of a fan of Abrams stuff until now (particularly "Lost") to give it a shot. Plus, Sylar looks so much like Nimoy as Spock, it's a bit frightening.
Harry Knowles from Ain't It Cool is kind of an easy sale, but he seemed pretty happy with the footage he's seen.

What is the consensus on the new 'Star Trek' movie directed by JJ Abrams?
Wondering whether people are feeling it will be worthy reboot? Or will it be "NCC-90210"? The Quinto-Spock looks like it will work, but I'm worried about the Kirk not being swaggering / hammy enough ... opinions?
