Has to be 'It's a Wonderful Life' because of the simplicity of its message and the fact that no matter how many times you watch it, it catches you emotionally. It also shows the better side of human nature - coming together in hard economic times. It's the kind of message we need when consumerism is so rampant now.

And while we don't want to scare the Dickens out of people, my vote for creepiest, most insane Christmas movie goes to Louis Jackson's "Christmas Evil," sometimes referred to as "You'd Better Watch Out":

I specifically clicked on this thread to give the same answer - Love Actually! I'm certainly not the first to mention it but just wanted to second this opinion.

It's hard to fade "A Christmas Story," which is rightfully a beloved classic. I'm also kind of partial to "Scrooged," if only for the Bill Murray factor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK_xRPs2QqI

When you translate "What is the best Christmas movie of all time?" into reality, it reads "What is the Muppet Christmas Carol?" Allow me. The Muppet Christmas carol is: funny even though I'm older now, charming, creative, entertaining and it packs a valuable life lesson for everyone, religious or no. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXhWXiQXAXY
