Then why not go for something in between? It's a romantic comedy with a little bit of crude humor. Just Like Heaven is another one that could be considered romantic, yet a bit crude.
50 First Dates:
50 First Dates is a 2004 comedy about a man afraid of commitment, until he meets the girl of his dreams. But then he discovers she has short-term memory loss and forgets him every day.
Just Like Heaven:
Just Like Heaven is a 2005 film about a man who finds his new apartment inhabited by the spirit of a previous tenant that only he can hear and see.

Or perhaps a classic, like "Some Like it Hot" with Marlyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon ,and Tony Curtis.
Mel Brook's "The Producers" is also hilarious, but it also contains quite few vulgarities.
Unfortunately, it's hard to think of a film that doesn't have at least some romantic aspects.

Secondhand Lions is also in between. As is Click--and Click even gets crude once in awhile. Even though these are all around two years old or older, chances are your grandma and aunt haven't seen them.

And there's even a couple gross-out moments, though relatively minor.

2 classics - Arsenic & Old Lace with Cary Grant and You Can't Take It With You with Jimmy Stewart! Acceptable with older people and deserve to be discovered by the younger crowd as the comedy gems they are! Arsenic and Old Lace

For a funny romance that isn't over the top, and complete with some crude moments, "Run Fatboy Run" would be a good call, especially if you're a fan of Simon Pegg and looking for a more modern film.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is fun. Not exactly a romance. Not exactly crude. Secondhand Lions is also in between. As is Click--and Click even gets crude once in awhile. Even though these are all around two years old or older, chances are your grandma and aunt haven't seen them.

Silverado - the ULTIMATE and essential western - beautiful scenery, shot in my home state (New Mexico), replete with good women and good guys and bad guys and middlin' guys and cattle and horses and humor and tear-jerkers and shootups and rescues and just the perfect western

I'm a big fan of the 2008 Get Smart Movie. It's an action comedy but has a romantic plot woven in. And there's even a couple gross-out moments, though relatively minor.

Try Scoop. It is very funny and entertaining for all crowds/ages. It has mystery a BIT of "love" and lots of laughs. Trailer:
