I highly recommend Dig!, it's a good documentary contrasting the stories of a band that made it big, The Dandy Warhols (big in Europe) and friends of theirs who didn't, Brian Jonestown Massacre. It gives you a feel of the craziness being part of a band.

Ondi Timoner has directed the following films apart from We Live in Public,She created and directed for the TV series Sound Affects,and ABC'S Switched. Additionally she has, through Interloper made music videos and music documentaries for The Dandy Warhols, The Vines, Paul Westerberg, Lucinda Williams, Vanessa Carlton, The Jonas Brothers, and DMC, among others.You will also find a site about her film movement below there is also a comprehensive listing of her works at imdb dot com,I hope that helps you
