I don't know...I like the early stuff with him fighting in WWII, even some of the Weapon X-type scenes. But a lot of it seems like it will be kind of cheesy. In fact, I'm not sure HOW you do Gambit and not make it kind of cheesy, and apparently neither does Gavin Hood.

Also, it feels like we've already seen this story. There are so many ways you could go with Wolverine...why constantly return to the "submerged in an evil bathtub" well?

Having said all of that, Jackman so completely owns this character that I'll pretty much have to see the movie no matter what.

It looks a lot better than I expected. I didn't really expect them to cover the whole backstory of Wolverine. I'm really excited to see what Wolverine is capable of. He's more than just bad attitude and claws. This movie looks like it is really going to bring it.

I used to watch this TV show(never read the comics) when I was younger and they spent a lot of time going well in depth for Wolverine. It always was interesting that they didn't focus as much energy into how the rest of the mutants came to be, but Wolverine was always a hot topic since he was created in a lab, etc.

I think this movie will be excellent and I'll be excited to see it. Too bad my fiance won't go with me. :(

I'm sure they'll stick to the storyline and it is a good one so it should be a great movie.

The "I'm gonna cut your head off" line was awesome! That's the promise of hard boiled violence that Wolverine fans are waiting for.

FYI - this pic is from a stage musical Jackman did where he played Peter Allen a songwriter and entertainer in a "Boy from Oz".

I've been waiting so long for this one. I never thought it was going to happen. And if by chance it did.... well i was afraid. Let us hope the trailer didn't show us the best parts and that there is MUCH MUCH more to the story/movie. I just can't wait..... What is it about those X-men that makes me just want to jump out of my skin?

Pretty cool. Looks like they finally made an X-Men film that will work. On a side note, Deadpool and Gambit both get their own films in the future. Should be rockin'.

A movie I want to love but am too scared given the risks it is taking. Too many characters always entails risk. The third installment of the X-men trilogy is proof enough. Though, it appears that Hugh Jackman's Logan finally begins to resemble the character in the comics, more bestial, a berzerking wild man rather than the "heart of gold" theme that they seem to over-play in the trilogy to make him more "kid friendly".

Definitely excited, though!
