Have you seen Paranormal Activity? I've heard it is the scariest movie out there and that it is really disturbing.

A group of 13 guys I know went to see it last night and all of them said they got so freaked out that they said that their wives are never allowed to watch it. I can't see it because the Blair Witch freaked me out too much and everyone said that this movie is 100 times scarier and more disturbing. I put the trailer on my halloween movie mahalo page if you haven't seen it yet http://www.mahalo.com/best-halloween-movies

If you have seen the movie I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

This movie scared the hell out of me. After the movie I couldnt stand up for 10 minutes. I had to go outside and after I left the theater I sat on the ground, put my face in my hands and rocked back and forth for about 6 minutes before I even had a urge to move.

After I got up all I could picture was Katie's face towards the end. I couldnt think of anything else, neither could my friend. We talked about it in a mono-tones voice for about an hour. It took alot for me to finally get some sleep, I couldnt stop thinking about what I saw. It disturbed me so much.

I have seen this movie 3 times, plus I bought the original version that was released in 2007. This movie is so good, cause there is no sound score, usually in scary movies the sound builds and you know something is gonna happen. Not this one, things just happen. After seeing it three times i still jump at parts and i wont watch it alone. Im a heavy believer in paranormal stuff though.

I will definatly add this to my collection of movies when it comes out!

Wow, I have to see this movie. I haven't been truly scared by a movie since I was in my teens watching the first Nightmare on Elm Street. I have a hard core system though. I found Blair Witch amusing. The rest of the nightmare movies were dumb, and by the 7th - people even started cheering for Freddy in the theater. My friend and I act like the robots on that Sci Fi 2000 series where we crack jokes all the way through when watching SAW. (Although the first one was intense, the rest were lame). I love a good scary movie, just haven't been able to find one yet.

I saw it. Now, I like scary movies, but I would highly recommend this movie to those that don't normally see scary movies. Why? There's no jump-out-at-you sudden freak-out moments, it's all suspense. Also, the premise of the movie is that they hear noises at night, so they set up a camera to catch whatever it is that might be there - so you know everything happens at night, so you can set yourself up for creepy happenings. It builds up very slowly, and though I didn't personally think the ending was as good as it could've been, I think it was a good way to end the movie. So bring a friend, and remember - it's just a movie! :)

It's pretty scary. Just watched it yesterday. Unlike other scary movies that would rely on creepy looking characters to make it "horror", in this movie, you'll get scared already without seeing the creepy character!

The only thing you'll see is the shadow but, God, it's scary already that way. It came to the point where I'm so scared that I'd rather not see his face or how he really looks like anymore.

It's a must watch especially to those who love horror movies! And yes, I agree that this could be today's scariest movie out there. Two thumbs up! ^^

On my scary-mometer, I'd give it a 10. It was scary enough. The suspense lets you know that something is going to happen. I like scary, so scary and funny are nearly the same thing, especially in Paranormal Activity. After checking doors, throw rugs and in other rooms, I guess in a few days it will be obvious that there is no paranormal activity lurking in my house.

The most incredible thing about this movie is that it is low-budget. Some say the movie costs $11,000 to make, others say it was only $500. After the first weekend, Paranormal Activity made $22 million. That was owed to a 'demand button' on their website, so that viewers could request the movie at their local cinemas. The movie has already been shown at more than 2,000 cinemas nationwide.

I just watched Paranormal Activity and was wondering what was so scary about this movie. I'm a big horror/ scary movie fan, if you want to watch creepy scary watch the Audition. I guess it wasn't that scary to me because I watch shows on the Bio Channel like Ghostly Encounters, Haunted History, Paranormal Zone, Celebrity Ghost Stories or SyFy's Ghost Hunters that it was already known that what might occur in the movie. Most of the true life stories should be made into the movie.
But if you got scared watching Blair Witch then you will most likely be scared watching Paranormal Activity if you are not an avid scary movie watcher. Maybe it's because it was like a documented on film like movie that made people think that it is real.
