Certainly it will be made available and offered for sale. There are many people who fly ultralight and very small aircraft. However, how many of them will want to pay extra for the ability to drive their planes on the highways is a lot more questionable. There are already small planes that fold enough to fit on a trailer.
The Terrafugia Transition is a plane that can act as a car. It is not a car that can magically fly. Few people will either be able to afford it or want to take up the rather dangerous sport of flying a small plane. Perhaps some might.
It's out of my price range. If it were a tenth the price, I don't know. There is still the need to take off and land from an airfield, even if a small one will do. It would be more tempting to me if it were a car-floatplane that could take off and land on water.
