Peppita from Star Ocean 3 kind of made me put the game down.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I can remember playing Mario 64 for hours and I hated this guy every time he popped up. He would always have some irritating "tip" about the controls or camera angles or something. DESPISED HIM.
P.s. Anybody remember his name?

M$Wow I didn't even remember this when I asked the question. I guess I buried it deep in my memory. well done.
Oooh... good one. I hated that. I loved that game, but I couldn't stand Navi constantly saying, "Hey, listen!" It caused me to often play the game with the sound off.
"Hey! Link! You know that thing that you are probably doing right now? Well you should do it."
Here's some footage of someone who hacked the game so that he could let out his years of aggression against that dog:

M$Forget Star Fox 64, he was just as annoying on SNES. I remember always trying to shoot him and hating that I couldn't. I always prayed that Falco would finish the job. I really do think he is just the worst character ever. I think he brings shame and disgrace to generations of Japanese people.
The power went out. Did I really deserve that?

M$Although, he totally gets redeemed in MGS 4. He goes from a whiny little punk to major badass.
Also, anytime an RPG decides that it MUST have a CHILD as a playable character. Whiny voice actors and squealing... no thank you.

M$Not only is he infuriatingly annoying, he's also unbelievably, disturbingly creepy. He's a short, fat guy. Dressed in tights. Flying with balloons. Pretending, no, *believing* he's a fairy. With Daddy issues. 'Nuff said.
Plus, he's always coming back, and he thinks he's your friend.

I think his name is Lakitu. He used to appear as the guy in the original Super Mario Bros. game who would drop Spinies on you, and then he became a cameraman.
