The most read Bible verse on biblegateway.com is John 3:16. It definitely is the most commonly used Bible verse for evangelical purposes, and is a nice verse full of hope and promises.

Jesus is over all, in all, through all, and surrounding all. That gives me all the confidence in the world. I like the practical verses, but this is where we get our authority because without it, we're toast. I'm not really the miraculous one; Jesus is. "For in Him we live and move and have our being."

That's where we get the justification that no matter what we ask in faith, it is done for us. By realizing this all-encompassing power all around and inside of us. And by realizing the power of unity, that one can put a thousand to flight, and two ten thousand.

True unity. Not a country club where we come and hangout every weekend, or a cause or crusade, but an actual family where we share Jesus' nature and He comes to life among us.

I find it really inspiring, although I cannot really emulate King Solomon. I find the criticism of the King unconvincing, as he had such a successful reign and is still renowned for his wisdom and writing.

It's hard to pin down, as of recently the whole book has been speaking to me. To me, Jeremiah 1:4-5 inspires me to not have a religion around God, but a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

He knows us, loves us and wants great things for us (all of us). Which leads me to another verse(Romans 8:31:

I think that this one is pretty amazing:

Basically, it means that you can overcome ANYTHING so long as you believe....and this can be applied not only to faith in the Bible, but also faith in every other aspect of life. Even if you aren't Christian it can still be applied to events/situations that seem really troublesome or difficult . It's a universal truth. You don't even have to be from the United States, or from any specific culture. It's the whole" mind over matter" concept. The Red Sea was parted because of this concept. Noah survived the flood because of this concept. In modern timtes, people have done amazing things with this idea....they've conquered whole countries and created amazing tools for people all over the globe (Google and Facebook just to name a couple). It allows people to get over fear of ridicule and dream big.....and then make that dream become a reality. YAY!

I would have to say, since the Bible consists of 66 books, written by 40 authors, the most inspiring quote would be difficult to choose. The quotes, parables, instructions, poetry & so much more can be received differently by the reader, depending on what is going on in their lives & their relationship with GOD or their belief in Jesus, therefore, I would say the best quote is a personal choice by the individual reading the bible & what they are going through in their personal life....
