More beer diplomacy and Presidential bets: Goose Island 312 for Hobgoblin - who came off best?
President Obama and Prime Minister Cameron bet on the USA England soccer match but it was a draw. Both teams lost their next round and were knocked out. But at the G20 summit in Canada they exchanged hometown brews Although the bet was supposedly "the best lager in England" vs "the best American beer" they actually exchanged an American Wheat Ale for a Brown Ale. Both are well regarded but not top beers. Who came out ahead and why?
