Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
In the days of CRT monitors, there were display adapters like CGA, XGA, MGA, SVGA, etc.
Now that there are LCD and TFT displays, do these classifications still hold good? Is it alright to say that all LCD displays are SVGA resolutions? Or is there something higher scale of resolution than SVGA for LCD monitors/screens? Or am I confusing display type, adapter and resolution>?
