I apologize for the delay in responding to your question.

Ruth Madoff withdrew more than $15.5 million from a brokerage account on which she was co-owner along with her husband, Bernie Madoff (this was prior to his arrest). It is currently believed she may have as much as $93 million more in her name. She has verbally agreed to freeze her own assets -not legally binding - and surrendered her passport to authorities.
