Wealth is not those things that are of monetary value as one might think at first. Wealth are those things that one desires that a person obtains.
The Bible says, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal but rather lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven."
First one needs to know what one values. The amassing of those things that are valued I would then say that that person is wealthy. Do you value children? Then a man with many children is a wealthy man. Do you value those monetary things. Then if you have many of those things you are wealthy.
Now I would ask. What does God hold to be of worth? Taking care of the poor, loving your neighbor as yourself. Loving your husband or wife even when they don't deserve it. If you have these things and lots of them then God would say you are a wealthy person.
Now When God says lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, I want to know what He holds to be of value so when I reach heaven I will have true wealth.

I agree that wealth is relations. If you know the right people, you can gain access to opportunity.
Family relations enrich members of the family, expand the knowledge base of the family, bring emerging talent into focus, and balance the demands of life.
Feeding the poor and clothing the naked is healthy. When people are healthy, content, and happy the whole group functions better. Peace produces prosperity. War is evil. War impoverishes.

Wealth in my opinion is when you no longer care about how much you have in your bank account. Or if you need to make more money. Also, if you have great health and can enjoy your money.
Wealth is the degree to which you are enjoying peace, love, and health. Money is merely a tool to get a person there, but sadly many find out having a lot money doesn't always give you the ability to enjoy such things as peace, love, and health, and have to find other means by which to be "wealthy."
