Should a person live in a small city verses a large city when inflation is rising?

Does geography matter in rapid inflation?

Geography matters! If you have the room & climate for a garden or room to raise chickens you may be able to avoid some of the sting of spiralling food costs. Yet you want to be close enough to cycle to areas to look for work. I think the suburbs or small cities may be the better of the two considering this.

I would believe that people in large cities may not have the room for these types of garden, additionally they rely very heavily on ground transportation to bring in food and supplies, I think they could be the hardest hit.

Rural areas could possibly be the best if you live off of the grid &/or in a commune inflation may be much less of an impact.
