need help with mom

how do i get my mom to get a makeover and how can i find out if there are computers donated store my mom needs one so she can get off mines she was laid off back in May she is getting her g.e.d on line but her computer has krashed and i need mines back

I can't comment on the makeover, but I'd check your local Freecycle to see if anyone has an older computer that they are willing to part with. You can find a group here: http://www.freecycle.org/ . In my area, there are usually several computers posted each week- older models, but fine for connecting to internet and doing basic word processing.

You might want to try Craigslist in your area also I've gotten a couple computer from there!
