no...they are legally different...corporate bonds have a claim on the assets...hard to know GS doesn't disclose how much

Why are investors buying corporate bonds like they are a bargin?

As demand increases for the corporate bonds then price will go up. Buying encourages others to buy. Corporate bond prices have been very low, so the price looks like a bargain.
