Warning About Money Questions

My ideal would be a home in the country on some good acreage, fairly close to a large city, and in a spot not terribly far from either the mountains or the sea (or both) in a climate that gets four seasons.
I'm not into stuff for stuff's sake. I do like art and beauty and gadgets, but I don't buy things just to have them.
What this means is I can easily live on less, once I get the property I want, and enough money to travel several weeks out of the year. In the U.S., this would mean probably around $150 K per year--the extra is for charity and kids' educations.
