Satellite radio stations are in trouble right now, actually. Since sales of Sirius XM contracts are mostly dependent on the new car industry, the current economy is a huge problem for these companies.

There is one Satelite network Sirius that broadcasts all of the individual providers, they pay them directly, you have to buy the correct equiptment to get the stations and pay a monthly fee. You can use the very wide range of programs in your car or at home

Not much. Didn't XM and Sirius have to join forces to stay open for business??

There is only one satellite radio provider, and that is Sirius XM Radio. There is no public information on how much each individual station makes, but Sirius XM Radio is a publicly traded company (Ticker is SIRI), and because of this you are able to get their earnings reports that are filed every quarter with the SEC.

You can find all of the most recent ones (past 2-3 years) as well as other analysis at Satwaves.com, or by gonig to this link: http://www.satwaves.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6 and look under the forum "Quarterly/Annual Conference Call Details".

Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions regarding Sirius XM radio, please feel free to ask!
