Next Question
I've played a lot of free MMO's and I know how hard it is to sift through the bad graphics/gameplay to find a game that's worth any amount of time, even just a few hours. After lots of wasted time, here are the ones I suggest:
Flyff - http://flyff.gpotato.com/
Hack-and-slash with good graphics. Character models are a anime-esque. Click-to-move is a little cumbersome, but you get used to it quickly. The social element is not extremely prevalent, which means it's a good game to stop and start as your schedule permits.

Rappelz - http://rappelz.gpotato.com/
From the same company that created Flyff, but the graphics are sleeker and more mature. The UI is more effective, albeit slightly chunkier. Altogether though, it's essentially the same gameplay style as Flyff.

Wizard 101 - https://www.wizard101.com/
Turn-based battle with cards that's a little reminiscent of Pokemon Stadium. Good graphics. The cities look like cheaper versions of World of Warcraft cities, specifically Stormwind.

If none of those interest, MMOhub.org is a really good resource. It also has reviews and more info about the games I've listed.

• I don't vote rate Above and Beyond often but this is a very well put together answer with videos and all. I'm trying Fly for Fun currently.
Thanks!

Dungeon Runners was a nice substitute for the generic loot-based, MMOG. If you decide you like it, you can upgrade to a subscribers account for access to the "l33t" loot! http://www.dungeonrunners.com/

Runes of Magic is a really fun game, with reliable servers and a decent player base. There's a lot you can do in that game, but you can do it on your own time and there's no rush to do anything. The game is free and they have certain items you can purchase, but none of them are necessary to enjoy the game. A coworker told me about it a few months ago and I've been playing quite a bit.

Maplestory is an awesome 2D side scrolling video game that many people around the world play. I have had my fare share of mmorpg's and I believe that this game is the best(tied with world of war craft{but you have to pay for WOW}). All you have to do is download and play. Unlike the more undeveloped games where you use the mouse to navigate, in this game it is mostly a keyboard that you use and you can assign certain skills to almost any key. I highly recommend this game from personal experience. http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/Main
