Are there any middle schools out there that really work on the true middle school model? Or are they just glamorized grade schools or watered down High Schools anymore?

The New England League of Middle Schools lists 40 "spotlight" schools who focus on the specific needs of early adolescents. The organization also has alot of great information on converting a school from a "junior high" to a true middle school model.
