Michael Steele, is he a good choice to head the Republican National Committee?

I have seen and heard him in interviews. He seems to represent what the Republican party has lost in the last 8 years, their conservative vaues. We need someone who will stand for these values and principles and not be a "Liberal Lite".

Michael Steele was previously the chairman of GOPAC, a political action committee devoted to getting Republicans elected so that's a not a bad position to have prior to taking over the RNC. He is also the highest ranking African American within the Republican Party which could be good for a party seeking African American votes.
