On the "NBA Blog" on hoobsvibe.com, Oly Sandor has some interesting insights.
He points out that Beasley is known to suffer from depression, struggle with marijuana, and has been receiving psychological help.
The above photo that Beasley posted on his Twitter account wasn't his first cry for help, either. Sandor says that last week, Beasley posted messages on Twitter, saying "feelin like it's not worth living" and "I feel like the whole world is against me i can't win for losin."
It was probably a mixture of depression and some sort of drug abuse... But whatever it was, Beasley will truly be a role model if he is allowed to address his psychological problems without stigma.

Why did Michael Beasley go to rehab?
Michael Beasley of the Miami Heat entered rehab after he had a meltdown, which he put on blast on his (now deleted) Twitter page. He posted this picture on Friday, which appears to show drugs on the table next to him.
Does anyone know the specific reason he entered rehab? Was it drugs, alcohol, something else?

The Miami Heat forward checked into a Houston rehabilitation facility last week and is being treated for various issues, including depression, a person briefed on the situation told The Associated Press on Monday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because of privacy concerns, and could not say whether the other issues included drug or alcohol treatment.
