When you get your ears pierced it is very important to keep earrings in all the time or you could risk the holes closing up. Commonly it is recommended you turn the earrings a few times a day and make sure you constantly clean the area with a gentle antibacterial spray or ointment so as not to get an infection. Any funky leakage is a sure sign that there is an infection and you must seek medical help.
It sounds as if you have a keloid which is simply overgrown scar tissue. There aren't any home remedies that are cited as effective, and steroid injections at the site seem to offer some hope. I've attached a very informative page on keloids, and I hope it helps.
