Megan Wants A Millionaire Canceled after murder. Right call?
Regardless of what you think of the show itself, was taking it off the air the right decision?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Ryan is very likely the murderer of his wife, a showgirl from Vegas who he very recently met and married in a whirlwind affair. This is the behavior of an extremely disturbed individual, possibly a sociopath or a psychopath. Watching him woo and romance another woman is at the very least tasteless and tacky - at worst it's sickening and disturbing to watch. And he should not get one more ounce of fame or attention, especially in any kind of positive light as a good "catch".

The family of the dead wife I'm sure would have plenty of objections to airing tape of this girl's murderer looking like a sweet romantic guy. Not only could it influence potential future jurors, but it's disrespectful to the dead girl's memory. I'm sure they'd use their muscle to stop the show, even if VH1 didn't make the right call. Plus Megan may have a legal case to, in that VH1 obviously did a piss poor job screening candidates. If I were her, I'd be terrified and angry that they led her to such a dangerous person. In fact, VH! may STILL have to answer for that.
Yes, I do believe - especially in light of VH1's hastiness to remove the show - that Ryan was the winner. And that's the last image that should be put out about this murderer right now (who by the way, just escaped into Canada on foot, despite a massive manhunt).

M$Well, considering this was previously filmed, with production ending in March, I don't think that's an option at this point. I would however, personally, like to have seen him just edited out, with possibly the ending redone... Asking for a lot I know.
Not the same thing. The show finished airing in February or March. The murder happened in March - after the show finished. They can't kick him off. It's over. And he's the rumoured winner or runner-up, so they couldn't even edit him out.
Not to mention that portraying the murderer as a "nice guy" and "great catch" in a romantic and flattering light is highly inappropriate. The filming is done, the winner's been determined - and whether or not it's Ryan, the whole thing needed to go away fast.
The Murderer is the winner of the show. This show was taped months ago, it is not like Big Brother.
