Alternatives to any other type of antibiotic, including vancomycin:

•Gentamycin
•Streptomycin
•Tetracyclines
•Chloramphenicol

Looks like Teicoplanin is the main alternative if you are allergic....

Streptomycin or Gentamycin are effective against bubonic plague.

thanks. i'm guessing these are in the same family as vancomycin, to which i'm quite allergic >_<

The antibiotics; Gentamycin , and Streptomycin can be used.Tetracyclines and chloramphenicol can also be effective.
