My fiance accidentally took 2 30 mg Restoril pills when her normal prescription is 30 mg is this okay?
The normal dosage is for 7.5 mg for normal people however on a few forums Ive read that people have taken 4 of those thus achieving the same dose she has accidentally taken. Is this bad, or should she be fine just maybe sleep longer?

If you're asking if she's going to die of an overdose, I would highly doubt it. Restoril is a benzodiazepine, and unlike some of the older barbiturate hypnotics, you really have to try to overdose on a benzodiazepine. Restoril also has a fairly short half life and peak time compared to the other benzodiazepines - people eliminate about half their dose in about 3 hours, compared to, say, 24 or more for Valium - so there shouldn't be any serious lingering "hangover" effects.
Still, I wouldn't call accidentally doubling the dose of any medication "OK." Personally, if it was a one-time fluke, I wouldn't be all that concerned...but are you really going to take the advice of a stranger on the internet? I mean, I'm not making this information up, but you don't know that! :-) My advice: call poison control and get an opinion you can trust. The national poison control number is 1-800-222-1222.
