Media Player w google desktop sidebar plugin?

I am looking for a media player with the functionality of Foobar www.foobar2000.org but that will integrate easily with Google Desktop sidebar. I just need it to play mp3s and the occasional wma format.. The features I am looking for: Automatically add music to library when I add to folder, live search (can type few letters of word), ability to sort quickly by album, artist, folder structure..

Foobar does have a gadget, but I can't get the thing to work- something about needing a server plugin?

I am looking for a good alternative with those features that will easily integrate w Google Desktop sidebar OR tell me how to use the Foobar gadget in plain english.. I've used Winamp in the past, but felt it was lacking...

I am using XP Sp3.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Windows Media player is a bit bloated for my personal taste. The other link was a player from 2003 that I've never heard of and couldn't find any info on.. Thanks though...

Um, why don't you just use the one that Google made for the sidebar? It's really lightweight and functional.

Thanks- Google has a couple.. the ones I tried won't do playlists and aren't anywhere as functional as Foobar or Winamp.
