This is what I would do. Defrost in your refrigerator, then put in a slower cooker and heat on low until hot, or on high but keep an eye on it. Or if you have a roaster oven that would work. Good luck.

Second, you need to have an oven :p
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Cook the brisket in a pan, covered with foil(aluminum wrap), about 4 hours or until the meat is fork-tender. Calculate 45 minutes per pound as your cooking time. One hour before the 4 hour period time, loosen the foil slightly and baste the meat occasionally.
Remove the pan from the oven when done, and cool completely. Cover the pan and refrigerate over night. The next day you remove the congealed fat from the surface, slice the brisket thinly across the grain, trimming away the fat. Then you can reheat the slices as you prefer.
You can keep the brisket for up to 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. And you can also freeze it well for up to 4 months.

How do I reheat a 5lb food service tub of frozen beef brisket?
I have a 5-lb tub of frozen hickory smoked barbecue seasoned beef brisket that I bought at Sam's. It says "simply heat and serve" but the instructions don't look all that "simple" to me.
It says "Before serving or placing in a hot food storage facility reheat the contents rapidly to 165 degrees F throughout for 4 minutes, then reduce to normal serving temperature 150-160 degrees F."
How should I do this? The thing is too tall to fit into my microwave oven.

First thing first, the 5lb beef brisket must be well trimmed. Second, you need to have an oven :p

I should have been more clear in the question. It's not a whole brisket, it's 5 pounds of shredded brisket, in sauce, frozen.
