for those particular terms, the search results may already be including them, however, that being said, i find that sometimes it is not even including the name of the page for the actual search.
it is easily fixed, though.
if you want to start a new google search section, go to the links drop down list and choose google search. it will automatically create a new search and add it to the bottom of the links column on your page, and should use the title of the page to grab the links.
to edit a google search... click edit. put in the title that you want that block of links called. if you want it to remain the page name you will have to actually put it because for some reason that little combo that is currently in the title section will not work when you save it... your title will be blank if you don't fill it in.
then in the search terms box, fill in all the search terms you want to include, separated by commas. click save and it should have the new results for you.
hope that helps.

after reading socalsue's answer i can see that you might have meant how do you get traffic from the search engines to see your page as both terms... so i'll answer that as well.
short answer- you don't but you can sometimes...
normally if you want to rank for a specific term you will use that as your page title or include the term in the title. obviously you can only have one page title and you don't want to fill it with all possible terms, but in the case of your two examples, the terms are so close that you can still do something about it.
first... realize that some search engines make no distinction between John Deere Tractor and John Deere Tractors. so you would already be coming up for both. Same for macy coupons and macy's coupons. however, some will see the difference.
the way you get around the fact that you can only have one page title is to first use both keyword phrases throughout your page wherever it would be relevant.
by that i mean put it where it naturally flows in the text and don't just stick it in anywhere.
then you need to get some incoming links using each term as anchor text. anywhere you would normally advertise or link from divide your terms. sometimes link using one phrase and sometimes use the other phrase.
that way the search engines see that you are relevant for both terms.
if you want to know what my recommendations are for phrases that are more different to each other, let me know... i won't add that info here. =)
setting up a redirect will only work within Mahalo and won't affect how the search engines see you, which is why i don't like using redirects much. =)

For right now I believe you work with Mahalo team members to set up redirects. This was discussed a bit on a couple of the Mahalo Tutorials. There was also a discussion not long ago:

When you create a page, what is the means of pulling in searches that are close to your words?
For instance, say the page's name is John Deere Tractor and you want to include searches that say John Deere Tractors.
Another example: Macy Coupons and you want to include Macy's Coupons
Another example: Macy Coupons and you want to include Macy's Coupons

I believe the workings of the Mahalo Search at the top of the page are still under development. That is why we all are using google search that starts with 'site:mahalo.com' to check for existing pages with words we are about to create pages for. For right now I believe you work with Mahalo team members to set up redirects. This was discussed a bit on a couple of the Mahalo Tutorials. There was also a discussion not long ago:

Otherwise, you can edit the terms your Mahalo Page searches for

Maybe I misunderstood, I thought @coltech88 meant, when a page exists on Mahalo called 'John Deere Tractor' and some comes to Mahalo and searches for 'John Deere' or 'John Deere Tractors' or even 'John Deer Tractors' will they automatically go to the 'John Deere Tractor' page or be dropped into the building of the page with the new term. @coltech88?
