what part of the day does mahalo take into effect for showing your results for the money you earned on your pages.

Im just wondering what part of the day mahalo calculates money earned on pages. for example is it 12 - 12 or 11 - 11 ?

Just wondering because I had a significant increase in traffic to my pages yesterday. Not just a small amount, a crazy amount of clicks and It says I made 80 cents for the day which was less then all 3 days before where I was getting about half the clicks and made like 6 times the amount of money.

Mike !

A lot of people had unusually low page earnings today. It seems that the way Google ad revenue is being reported is not always consistent, so some days are high, some days are low. They are working on a way to make the page earnings reports more consistent. As far as when they are updated, I usually see updates around 11:30 am central time. You will have to convert that to your time zone. Also, more page views does not guarantee more earnings since revenue is based on ad clicks, not views.

• Yes you are right, today was a astronomical difference so there definitely is some delay.. Thank you so much for your help.

thanks soundboy, i am totally understanding of the page views doesnt mean guaranteed revenue however my clicks were actually increased 7 x but the money decreased by 10 x.

Example -

I had 500 unique clicks to my pages and made $8

Next day i get 900 unique clicks to my pages and made $4

next day i get 2000 unique clicks to my pages and made $2

next day i get 3500 unique clicks to my pages and made 80 cents

Talk about consistency lol.

There is definitely something wrong, you cant increase 7 x the amount of of traffic and decrease Money by 10 x... thats not right... I used to use adsense on my sites and when i got more hits to my site i always made more money not 99% of the time 100% so what your saying is definitely possible but it is not probable meaning its unlikely the system is working correctly for me and everyone else managing pages.. and I been hearing a lot about functionality of mahalo like people not being able to cash out and other things that has to do with money that has me worried so I contacted mike at mahalo and he said by tomorrow I should see a change in my money earned so will see.

Any other info you can drum up would be good.

Thanks, Mike !

I see your examples, but like I mentioned, the stats are not always up to date or consistent, like yesterday I got less than usual from page income, but today I got more than usual. Check your stats over the course of about a week and try to get an average.
