Currently the pages that make the most money (that I know of) consist of coupon pages, some of the How To's, some game related pages and seasonal pages (including holidays and things like amusement parks).
I expect the new gift card pages will be popular too... especially for the next couple of months.
But *any* page can surprise you.
Since you have some SEO knowledge, @romeo0830, I recommend you do some keyword research and see what people are searching on. Then compare that to pages already on Mahalo, so you will be able to benefit from some of the existing pages that are already indexed.
If there is a set of pages already on Mahalo that complement your idea, make that page, then contact the page managers of those pages to get a related pages link to yours, and link to theirs.
You can also do several pages that are related and link them.

The best types of pages to manage are those you are interested in, as those will be topics that you'll be passionate enough to stick with and add good quality information to.

I agree that it's best to choose pages that you want to spend time on... you will be revisiting those pages often! =)
In order for a page to make money (over the long term), it needs to have good content, that's updated frequently- which is why I suggested you pick something you have knowledge and passion about.
The best terms are "niche" terms-- that people are searching, but don't have alot of competition. So find something you care about, do keyword research to see what people are searching, and then select the most highly searched term that have fewest pages currently built about it. Build several pages on different aspects of the topic and connect hem by inlinking and adding related terms...and be patient. I've found it takes about 2 months for something to really start happening with a page.
