I've read through all the answers in detail and feel this is a tremendous answer of the day competition today. I was particularly pleased to see answers to 2 of my questions in AOTD.

I've thought carefully and i'm going to vote for:
Is the Wizard of Oz, from 1939 an all-time classic film. Agree/Disagree, comments welcomed, will people play it in another 100 years?
@gno

This answer has to be one of the most complete i've ever seen on Mahalo. Gno explains in detail her views on The Wizard of Oz and her love-hate relationship for it.

The detail came from the heart and also included 3 images, well done gno, excellent work for a duck.

A good batch of answers here, but I'm going to go with #Ghanan20003000.
A simple and straightforward answer, but one that exposed me to the world of James Burke. Course, according to Burke I guess it would be MY world since it's my point of view... ahh go watch the video!

You just can't beat @gno for clarity, expression and accuracy. Her blend of facts, description, well moderated opinion and overall useful/helpfulness is what an answer to this question should be. Plus I love the use of the word "progeny" I just can't get enough vocabulary. I would not want to be up against her in an answering competition. She made me want to watch The Wizard of Oz again.
One smart duck.

@gno had the best answer. It is very long and I can tell gno put time into it. I like my answer too because I put tons of time into mine as well, BUT! gno answer is a personal answer and I appreciate those more than others. As I am sure many other people do. (^_^)V But if you did like my answer, you could vote helpful on my answer, I enjoy hearing that my answer is helpful, even if I do not win anything. Thanks.
