Is there a guide to what the wiki syntax here on Mahalo is, and what HTML we can use in pages?
I have read the guides for "How to Create a Page" but I don't see much information about where HTML is allowed and how we do things like insert a video or an image. I'm sure there is a guide somewhere, am I missing it? :)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Mahalo Tutorials has a brief guide to some of the Mahalo wiki syntax (it's at the bottom of the Tutorials page). As far as html, my understanding is that we should avoid using it, but I'll admit that I use it in link and section titles from time to time where wiki code doesn't work and it just doesn't look right without proper italicization, etc.
To insert videos or images, you'll need to select "Featured Object" from the "Add Section -- to Links" dropdown menu. Go to the new section labeled "Featured" and click Edit. From there, you choose from Video | Photo | Audio and insert the link. You can rename the section title and add Description Text if you wish.

How to Build A Mahalo Page shows you the wiki codes we are allowed to use as of right now. Scroll down to almost the bottom of the page, its listed under Wiki Text on Mahalo. HTH
