philipy,
You did come back here in a few days.
You selected mine as the best answer to this question.
Then, somebody thought I was clever and tipped me $50 for this answer.
Wait...it's gone again. Feeling queasy.

Off and on all day, my newly-earned tips vanished (and I haven't seen the ones I've earned this month yet); my points go up and down (but still no restoration of the 300+), my belt status goes from none to current.
It's weird; I know it's a sign the team is working on things, but I almost think I should stay out of the way for awhile so they can fix things. I really, really want my points and tips back!

As always we appreciate the patience you've all shown and as buggy as it gets it's good that we discover these bugs sooner rather then later when you find a bug it helps us make the site better.
In answers, Copy your work before you hit submit, if anything gets stuck you wont lose your work.
As you can tell this was a major major update and the goal was for it to not disrupt answers, unfortunately, as we've seen Answers seems to have taken the brunt of the issues, so the devs have more work then they anticipated on getting the site back up and running.
Thanks again guys for keepin' on, smooth sailing is not far ahead.

Anyone experiencing timesickness?
With all the various bugs, it's like being in an episode of Star Trek where you're jumping backwards and forwards in time all the time.
- A change you made disappears. Then reappears. Then disappears.
- A question you asked gets answered. And you select the best answer. Then that answer disappears, the questions becomes open again, and other people answer it.
- You think you answered ths question already? Maybe you did. :)
I may have to come back in a few days time when it's all settled down!

Yeah, I'm getting frustrated because I'll answer questions, but the answers don't always "take." I give up for now. I'll just drop in periodically after this to see if things have calmed down, but won't bother trying to do anything productive around here until the bugs have been squashed.

Well, this very question says it has two answers, but I can't see them! Off and on all day, my newly-earned tips vanished (and I haven't seen the ones I've earned this month yet); my points go up and down (but still no restoration of the 300+), my belt status goes from none to current.

I know how you feel, I'm like in Lost and the time machine keeps skipping, five minutes ago I had bushy sideburns and an afro. As always we appreciate the patience you've all shown and as buggy as it gets it's good that we discover these bugs sooner rather then later when you find a bug it helps us make the site better.
