Why can't I add my fans as friends?

I keep clicking add as friend and it says added but they never do. Is there a special way to add them or something?

I found this the other day... when adding a Psertain psynopsis to my friend list. The way that I found to work around the problem was to open your profile page and then click on the link under your name to add you as a friend that way.

A side effect from my doing this is that for some reason I am now listed as my own fan!

Not sure why this is happening. We're looking into it today.

Bear in mind, we're working on an entirely revised Friend/Fan system for the new Mahalo launch in a few weeks...So stay tuned and this should not only be fixed but, dare I say, IMPROVED!

I'm glad to hear this. The friends system never worked right for me after the 2.0 transition. I hope the new system works better!
