Mahalo is adding a M¢25 tip to all questions that don't offer a tip as an experiment -- annoying?

Do you find this at the front of EVERY question annoying?
Does it make the questions difficult to read?
I think there needs to be better layout and colouring.
I suggest either it should be just at the top of the page or a lighter colour so it doesn't stand out with the question underneath it.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I wouldnt call it "annoying" exactly but i agree it is repetitive, especially when your trying to read through all the questions. I think it's probably up there right now just to inform everybody. I'm sure it will only there for a short period of time, maybe it will be replaced with a small logo or something...

I see it as advertising for Mahalo Answers. It's kind of like the video games, when you turn on the game, it says, "brought to you by EA" or something like that. You've got to get past the advertising. I first found it to be redundant annyoying, and now I see the reasoning behind it. They are basically marketing Mahalo Answers, so that the user remembers Mahalo Answers. I think Mahalo saw that people were answering questions and not coming back, so they wanted a way to make users more loyal. The 25 cent tip is one way, but also putting this repetitive message is another way.

It would be nice to see this replaced with something more graphically appealing, or a way to get rid of this repetitive message.

Yes, I do. It is very visually unappealing and makes it difficult to read the questions. I am sure it's a temporary notice, though.

They've changed to look much cleaner now, it's very slick compared to the old version.

Maybe a different typeset for the notice would help. It is difficult to scan through and get to the question.

I'm kind of slow, so I'm not really bothered by it.
