I picked it because I think more folks should be able to know how beautiful of a state Maine is.
So the questions I will select for consideration are;
Where would you go on a photowalk in Maine?
And lighthouses are unmanned. What help could they possibly give you?
Haunted Lighthouses. How to get into one of those? Especially along the east coast of Maine. A plan to ponder.

Since when does the bank keep allowing you to use your debit card when your account is wiped out? At the tune of 35 bucks a swipe times 14.
Why do the credit card companies pick on the people with good credit? Another card just cut my credit line by 10k because I have a 0 bal.
Was just sent a $3,000 money order in the mail. . . .should I cash it and keep it, or send it along? What do you think?

If you had a huge website idea would you contact a venture capital group or would you just figure out how to do it yourself?
Why I think this question is interesting:
A lot of people have big ideas that could change the world. Venture Capital is often conveyed as a guaranteed path to success. This question asks us to consider venture capital and if we would use it.
My answer strategy:
I wanted to be helpful and positive. While I could have said things like "everyone has big ideas, the economy is down, forget VC", I took a different route. I said that the asker would want to learn about VC on the page I created, how to receive venture capital but build a product first before seeking investment.

I need a new backpack for school but I can't find any good ones. Anyone know a good place to buy one?
Why I think this question is interesting:
A lot of people are searching for back to school backpacks right now. This person went so far as to ask Twitter about where to find one. While not incredibly interesting at face value, I'm hoping that this answer helps to increase the volume of traffic on the page that I wrote about, how to choose a backpack for school. Associating common "where to find" type questions with "how to choose" can't be a bad thing.
My answer strategy:
Just like in my page how to choose a backpack for school, I mentioned that shopping locally for a backpack first was a good idea. Trying on backpacks is important and that led me to link to the Mahalo Topic Page that I created in an honest, related way. I also mentioned that Amazon.com has great prices and that often, the best selection and price can be found on the websites of the manufacturers directly.

Getting "Lens Error" on my new camera (I think it's sand/dust) Need some advice: do I take it apart and try to clean it myself? Other ideas?
Why I think this question is interesting:
"Lens Errors" are very common and are not well documented. This question also asks if cleaning the camera will solve the issue and how to do it.
My answer strategy:
First, I directly answered the question by pointing to the page that I manage about how to clean a digital slr camera. Next, I researched the error and found links from both Canon and Nikon that describe and validate the error. Last, I reiterated what the manufacturer support said and commented that cleaning might fix the problem but that it would likely have to go in for repair.

I voted "interesting" on the third question. However, as with Buddawiggi, I'm disappointed that you didn't take the opportunity to elevate the quality of Mahalo by editing the grammar of the question, as Jeff suggested. Nor did you take care with the grammar of your own answers.
However, I was gratified to see six responses to the question, so it appears that you selected a very interesting one. Great choice.

Yes, but the question appears to be worded by a non-native speaker and uses an awkward construction. Conventional English grammar would word the question, "What if Bob Marley were still alive?"

Otherwise, I found both the answers and the subject matter interesting. Great information about a topic that I have always found fascinating.
One of the most interesting experiences that I had regarding lighthouses is when I had the opportunity to get a closeup view of a Fresnel lens. To think that an ordinary lightbulb can generate so much light with the placement of mirrors! What's even more interesting is that I saw this display in a museum in Elko, NV!

My questions pertain to my page How To Get The Most Out Of Your Bank. I have seven+ years in banking customer service, and have seen a demonstrated need for consumer education about banking products and services. So . . .I voted "interesting" on your overdraft question, since this is a question near and dear to my heart. Don't get me started!
The inclusion of the other two questions in your list provides an interesting demonstration of the diversity of banking issues. Moreover, I'm especially impressed by your thorough responses to each of these questions. Your brilliant analysis leaves me speechless.
However, you definitely love to hear yourself talk! Fewer words might actually boost the quality of your answers. Remember: "less is more!" As for grammar, you're absolutely anal (note the "anal" in analysis!). Lighten up!

I voted "interesting" on your website question, because I find it especially relevant as it relates to the new Sunday series, The Shark Tank, where contestants pitch their ideas to a panel of venture capitalists.
As for the second question, it was interesting to see your rationale for choosing it. While not interesting on its face, it's still counted among the daily concerns that people try to resolve. Good choice in your attempt to address those concerns.
The answer to the third question appeared thorough, although, admittedly, this is not a subject with which I have much experience, beyond my four-year-old, Sony Cybershot P200 rangefinder. Still love that Pentax MX!
Aside from a few issues regarding punctuation, I'm gratified to see the high quality of your writing. Definitely an asset to the overall quality of Mahalo.

I love Mahalo Huntings that create synergy between Mahalo Pages and Mahalo Answers. I chose to import questions for Quilting and a few more topics while I was at it. Why not? There haven't been very many questions in the Hobbies category lately. People who are into Sewing and Quilting never have enough Sewing Notions and tools. I love the hand-stitching aspect of needle arts, so was already interested in your topic. I voted "interesting" on the third question, because, not only did you answer the question, you also provided a great image and a very on-point video tutorial (yes, I did watch it).
I also like that you promoted your page in a way that let quilters know how this resource could benefit them.
My only criticism--yes, you guessed it -- is the grammar. You write well for the most part. However, your answers could have benefited from more conscientious attention to grammar and spelling to enhance your subject credibility.
Nevertheless, an excellent demonstration of your love for this pastime.
