(Wow, @bestpay's answer here could be in the running up in this category...)

But for today's contest I'll vote for @Justinliudvinaitis - really nice work.

Great responses all - really impressive answers - from the start, I've been a proponent of keeping the bar raised high here at MA - for our askers benefit and for - well - just because it the right thing to do. So great job everyone.

The distinctly New Hampshire comment "proximity to the Kanc" was enough for my vote.
I love New Hampshire and the Kancamagus Highway.

If there is an extra day added on a leap year, does that mean there are 366 days?
@arjo
A detailed answer about the Gregorian leap year and the fact it has 366 days because of an extra day in February.
Short, sweet and to the point but very educating for those unaware of the facts surrounding leap years.

Can someone tell me how to use Twitter please?! People are doing all these fancy things on it that I cant do.
@cecilydee
A good guide for the uninitiated on the global web phenomenum which is Twitter.
@cecilydee describes the use of Twitter for the beginner and the answer comes accross loud and clear.
A must read for those who've been thinking what is this Twitter I must give it a try some day.

Has anyone ever been to the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire? What are some interesting things to do there?
@Justinliudvinaitis
An expert answer if ever there was one, this is where having local knowledge can make a real difference.
I live 3,000+ miles away and was tempted to make a visit, is Justin a travel brochure writer?
I loved the anecdotal accounts based on real life visits and the open invitation to C'mon up.

Do you use cloth diapers? What do you think of it?
@krysstel
The author taught me more about the benefits of cloth diapers in this than I really cared to learn!
The knowledge is good and again comes from personal experience, some good recommendations for familes about to
have a new baby.

What do you think will be the next "breakthrough" invention?
@pixelsilva
Superb answer, to a question that I wrote myself. 5 helpful tags. Took me over 10 minutes to read.
A superb review of the Scientist - Leonardo Da Vinci. I learned many new things about this scientist
through the answer. Includes 16 inventions by the scientist and 4 attached images.
A tremendous piece of work by Pixelsilva.

Overall it was a tough call between @Justinliudvinaitis and @pixelsilva.

I've thought about this long and hard and my vote goes to @pixelsilva and is a credit to him and now Mahalo.
Well done @pixelsilva and I look forward to work of this quality in the future.

Attached is a famous painting by "Leonardo Da Vinci", the "Battle standard".

I vote for Arjo's answer. I like it because it is simple and factual, yet goes beyond simply answering the question to explain the basis for a leap year. It does not include too much detail that cannot easily be learned from the reference links.

This question about inventors was one I considered answering myself...until I read @pixelsilva's answer (predating this contest even). I found it to not only be the absolute perfect answer that I wish I could've/would've given, but it also was thorough, intelligent, and really did the question credit.

Thanks, pixel, for doing so much research, and painting such a beautiful Mahalo tribute to DaVinci.

It's not easy to describe Leonardo's incredible breadth of knowledge and accomplishment in a short summary. Excellent answer!
