Gadget Barnraising Results!

Thanks a lot everyone for creating some really great Gadget Barnraising pages. This Barnraising kickstarts the Gadget category on Mahalo. Everyone has helped to make a real difference in the quality and depth of gadget related pages on Mahalo. Thank-you,

One day a week, I get to spend the entire day with my kids. Since today is that day, the draw has been completed by my assistant while my son provided the laugh track.

This contest put almost M$1000 into the pockets of Mahalonians. Thanks a lot Mahalo!

Congratulations to the winners and I really enjoyed participating on this Gadget BARNRAISING even though I realize I could have put some more effort into it. Through this I came across some cool gadgets I have never even had an idea and this contest added some great experience on my Mahalo career. Thank you Rob for creating a great interesting BARNRAISING ! Looking forward for a Gadget barnraising in near future !!!!

You did a great job on these tasks Ghanan! You defiantly deserve at the very least an honorable mention!

No need to wait for the next Gadget Barnraising. There are new consumer electronics including gadgets in the task system right now! They're fun, interesting and a great way to earn a few extra M$'s!!

There is a story behind the chicken hat :)

It involves 2 Germans, an awesome angry Jewish guy, a round of Lederhosen and way too much beer at Oktoberfest a couple of years ago.

Well first of all Rob thanks very much for all your hard work and effort in co-ordinating this barnraising. I know you put a lot of effort in and also spent additional time clarifying some of my queries, thanks very much.

As for me i'm delighted to have won, finally I have won a Barnraising having finished 2nd twice! I am especially delighted as I was on holiday for 8 days part way through the Barnraising. I love gadgets and learned about some new cool gadgets i'd never come across before.

My personal favorite was the Phillips Biotower - see:http://www.mahalo.com/philips-biotower - This amazing device allows you to grow food within your home.

I certainly will look out for more gadget tasks Rob and will also eagerly monitor the income generation from my new 35 pages of gadgets.

Thank you so much to your Vanna White for pulling my name out of the hat. I found myself giggling when I saw her shutting her eyes.

I enjoyed the Motion Controller project I researched. I never dreamed I would have a chance at winning a prize so this is an added bonus.

The chicken hat was the icing on the cake!
