BARNRAISING #8 More Coupons and 20 prizes! Leaderboard: September 9, 2009

Barnraising #8, More Coupons, launched earlier this week. 20 prizes will be awarded to the winners who complete the most tasks! This barnraising will include 1000 tasks, and a few over 200 have been completed so far, so anyone could still win this competition!

If your tasks are approved, you will earn a tip and 10 points towards your next belt level! You also get the chance of becoming the manager of the page and earn some of the Adsense revenue from the page. To learn more about page management, visit How Mahalo Works and Mahalo Page Management Guide. If you don't want to manage the pages, you can choose to abandon them. Many coupon pages are among the most profitable pages on Mahalo.

We have added over 500 tasks into the system and will add over 400 more. Great job so far everyone! Thank you for your help in building out these pages!

This leaderboard includes the first ten spots in the competition, since many users have only completed a few tasks. This means that even if you have not participated yet, you still have a chance of winning a prize!

this is definitely still anyone's competition. a lot of us are busy and not moving very quickly... so for all of you who have not jumped in yet -- what are you waiting for??

get in and get busy and you can be at the top of that list!

coupon tasks are not too hard, and there are so many of them you can probably find one for a place you shop at or a subject you are interested in... there are tax program coupons, clothing store coupons, office supply coupons, hotel coupons...

you might even find coupons for a local eatery... there have been those as well before.

so go take a look and see what you can find... you might surprise yourself and find that you really like doing these tasks...

Does anyone know how often this leader board is updated? I mean ones in similar contests?

sometimes as often as daily... but lately not so much. staff has been pretty busy. =)
