Yeah, Mahalo posted a copyrighted image of mine on this page
http://www.mahalo.com/lipstick-jungle
without permission, TAKE IT DOWN OR ELSE!
If Mahalo doesn't take down my image, offer a letter of apology within the next 6hrs, I will have your isp provider remove your website as well as provide me details that my lawyers can sue you, f'n idiots!

We certainly apologize that you're image showed up one of our pages, Mahalo uses standard Flickr API which collects images that have been released to search engines.
If you don't want your images to appear in search engines you will need to set up your privacy options on Flickr. Either way, I'd love to help you, let me know what images are yours and I'll delete them.

I have my images set to COPYRIGHTED so FLICKR should NOT be releasing them, I will forward this to the Flickr staff and ask for an explanation as to why they deem it ok to give away my copyright, argh!, all the image on the page that link to Ikon Visuals are mine, please remove them, and thank you for responding.

Hi, I'm not a member of Mahalo staff, but I do know that the images posted on the page you mentioned all appear to be links to flickr posts.
It might be helpful if you mention what image you are speaking of.

some that are pulled from flickr are mine (on 1st page especially) including image that isn't linked to flickr on top left of page, flickr says mahalo shouldn't have, mahalo says flickr allowed, yet images are copyrighted, non-downloadable and are set for not to be released to blogs, yet.... argh!
I hope you get everything straightened out.
I agree, how can you consider photos posted on Flickr to be copyrighted? Secondly, these photos are just being pulled from flickr, they haven't been re-published on Mahalo?
the image at the top of the page has no link back to flickr for one, the images have nothing to do with the show "Lipstick Jungle" and Flickr has licensing options for images, public, copyrighted and CC (which means permission needed for any commercial use), mine are all copyrighted.
You mention Mahalo's ISP. You do realize that Mahalo is hosting itself?
Please also realize that even if there were an ISP involved, you would need a SUPOENA issued by a Judge to obtain any information.
Did you know that threatening a lawsuit is, in many cases, an offense and could lead to a lawsuit against you?
Before posting any images online, you should read all the terms you are agreeing to.
This is not the right platform for your issue.
Do better next time.

I would have rather gone and complained directly to staff, unfortunately they have no email listed for contact in an easy to find place (like at the bottom of every page (a contact us perhaps)). When left with little or no options you have few choices. As for reading my agreement, Flickr has 3 licenses you can set your images at, public, creative commons, and copyrighted, mine are set for copyrighted as well as a sub filter set for not to be released to blogs and only I can download, so yes, obviously Flickr is also in the wrong, Mahalo is in the wrong that they took 1 of them and used them as the header of the page (top left corner) with no link back and didn't check the licensing of images they grabbed (then at top of page are trying to sell the page?!?!), however on their defense, flickr should not have released them in the 1st place.
Mahalo still needs to have some easy way to contact staff.
