We do have a team of developers working around the clock fixing bugs and adding new features, if you do have a bug I urge you to submit an email to contact@mahalo.com
In your email mention..
- When the Problem happened.
- What you were doing when you experienced the problem.

As always we really thank you for your patience, if a bug stops you from proceeding, take a step back and check out other parts of Mahalo you haven't discovered....may I suggest voting on on Undecided questions :D

Right now I am not able to edit my own comments even though it shows 54 minutes to edit. See picture.
I have also asked a question listing some of the issues. Hope the technical team is checking this category and working on to fix them soon.

Aware of some of them, yes.
Impatient that they will be corrected immediately, no.
Understanding that it takes a lot of time to correct software problems, yes.
As the wife of a software developer, I don't even call them bugs. (he does)
I call them programming errors, or design errors, or human errors, or just "things that don't work".
Keep the faith. Report them to management. contact@mahalo.com Hang in there!

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Is anyone else frustrated with Mahalo bugs?
I wanted to edit a reply to add more information/sources but clicking the edit link, within the 1 hour time limit, did nothing! Is it just me or anyone else also experiencing annoying bugs. What bugs have you experienced?

@krusheasy It doesn't look like it, but that would be a good idea. We need solid instructions that explain how to report bugs and technical issues.

I've been having the same problem as you, @xelipe. I've just added a second comment with the extra information or sources. Hopefully the Mahalo team will get that bug sorted out soon! That bug, and the caching issues with Mahalo Topic Pages have been extremely annoying as of late. :(

Yes, I am very much. I have had this issue a couple of times. Right now I am not able to edit my own comments even though it shows 54 minutes to edit. See picture.
I have also asked a question listing some of the issues. Hope the technical team is checking this category and working on to fix them soon.

yes, mine does that too sometimes (stanar). Sometimes I make a booboo, typo and see it later. then I fix it. :) It does "hang" for a while. Not sure why

Definitely frustrated with the above mentioned bugs, also sick of loading times for pages (especially those with many answers and embedded media). Having to wait until a full page loads (answers, category side bar, etc) until being able to vote, comment or list an answer as helpful/unhelpful is annoying too. Seconding an easy way to report bugs.

If you are married to a programmer and he calls them bugs, I think you should too, cause no man wants to hear his wife saying he made errors!! lol..

I agree, I've been frustrated with the problems more than once. I also understand however, that maintaining a system like this is one heck of an undertaking. In the last three months, Mahalo has seen a 9% traffic increase. That may not seem like much, but on a grander scale. Take for example if you had 100 people to feed, but 9 more showed up. That's a decent amount of people you now have to deal with. I'm sure that of course, they've planned for increased traffic but this site really has alot going on. Bugs are inevitable, and should be reported via the proper channels. Complaining here just takes up more time. Mahalo gets about 6.7 million people visiting per month!

Interesting point about the statistics. Check out the Alexa ratings to learn more: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/mahalo.com
People have mentioned the slow loading time. Alexa confirms that is is slower than 73% of other sites at an average load time of about 4 seconds.

It is frustrating. You can't get back the time for editing and reediting a page after your work gets lost. The worst problem that I had was losing a section of a page. I couldn't find the deletion in the page history. It's a good thing there was a record of the links being created in the history section. It saved me some time.
