If your professor gave you a legal license to the windows version perhaps you can trade it with someone for the Mac version. Either that or have your work pay for it.

I have the PC software for Adobe InDesign CS2, that I need for my job. I was given it by a professor... Is there a way I can still use it on my Mac

You could dual boot Mac and Windows with Bootcamp.http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/bootcamp.html

CS2 is a pretty heavy duty suite of software that I wouldn't recommend running in emulation or virtualization if you can avoid it. I would either dual boot your Mac (assuming it is intel based) and run it natively in windows or find the Mac version of CS2.If your professor gave you a legal license to the windows version perhaps you can trade it with someone for the Mac version. Either that or have your work pay for it.
