I would bet yes. If not from Mahalo, then it seems to me that this format could easily be applied as a plugin to an existing wiki or issue tracking system. It would be fairly straightforward to make a plugin for Jira or Confluence for example.
I'm watching Mahalo's growth to see what the mix of serious/not-serious turns out to be, but I'm interested in how adding competition will help improve collaborative knowledge maintenance and growth.

Will there ever be an enterprise version of Mahalo Answers?
Most organisations I have worked at are really bad at knowledge management, with most offering tagged emails as a way of Q&A. Will there ever be a Mahalo Answers appliance that we can just hook up and use ala a Google Search Appliance. I believe there could be a market for Mahalo Answers behind the firewall.
