Answered Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Which features do we need for a real WYSIWYG editor to enhance questions texts and their answers?
Although the questions titles, with their 140 chars limit, leave no room for fancy fonts, the text of questions can supposedly be enhanced by WYSIWYG features.
It seems however that these features are currently very limited: bullet point lists, numbered lists... that's all.
Too many features would be a bad idea, because they would probably bring a lot of additional complexity.
Personally, I would appreciate:
* Bold and Italic
* Choice of 3 fonts, maybe within a limited set of styles: fixed font ala Courier, sans-serif font like Arial, serif-font like Georgia and Times Roman.
This would probably enhance a lot questions and answers...
What do YOU think?
(Initially typed in WYSIWYG... but this seems to crash Mahalo!)

Right. Being able to attribute source to a quote, and to show that it is a quote, is an essential part of the web.

@fibo I guess it depends on how it's used, but when you think of the websites that gave users the ability to color their text (bulletin boards, forums, myspace) they are generally unattractive websites to visit. Mahalo Answers is working towards being a reputable legitimate Q&A service, I just don't think new users and visitors would take us seriously if my text here was in large bold font purple.
