SUGGESTION: Should we be able to see when questions we answered have had a best answer selected?

We get to see when OUR answer was selected as best, but I would like to be able to see when questions I've been involved in have been closed. Instead of hunting through my recent activity to see if an answer had been picked yet.

You can certainly without having to go through your Recent Activity feed.

Just go to your profile > click on Questions. All the questions you've ever asked are there, even the ones that you didn't personally select "Best Answer" on.

Well, yes, that's the LONG way. But is it it hard to add "So and so received the best answer for "How is babby formmed? How grrl git preggnat?" to our recent activity log?

I hear ya, your activity log should already show you who gets best answers, even when they are decided by votes.

For example, this question of mine went to votes, when voting was completed it appeared in my activity log.

Wait a sec... I think I am misunderstanding, you want to be notified when Other people receive best answers in questions you answered?

That's it exactly. We already get the notifications if WE get the best answer, but not if anyone else does. We don't even know if an answer was selected unles we manually pull up the question and check for ourselves.

I think this is a good idea. It can be an option you select in your own profile, since I imagine they want to limit the number of checkboxes people can click each time they want to answer a question.

As another suggestion, it would be great if we could be notified when somebody comments on one of our answers. As far as I know, the only way to do this is to go back into our answer history and see when people make comments.

There is already a way for your second suggestion. Take a look at your profile under settings, and there is a Notifications button. Just turn it on for Mahalo Answers.

I think this is a great idea. I always wonder what happened to questions I've answered (the 70%+ that I didn't get Best Answer).

I would appreciate this as an option. Sometimes I spend half an hour crafting a good answer, and then I never hear about that question again. I'm simply too busy to go hunting trying to figure out which questions I've heard the resolutions to and which ones I haven't!
