I know that the Mahalo developers are working on this. From what I understand, you will also receive an email reminding you that an update is due before the page is taken away from you, so you will have a chance to make an update and thus not lose the page.

Sadly my email is spam filled so it is hard to find anything, and basically I just really do not check it anymore.
