Jason hinted at making Answers accessible on smartphones, I don't think it would be that bad of an idea to make answers usable from a Cell phone, txt speak is something moderators could easily clean up before a question goes live on the site. Phoning a live operator is a whole other ball game, and I doubt are in the plans.

In the end, I don't think this feature is necessary. The people that so urgently need to post a question while mobile also need the answer. Texting the question in with no way to get the answers texted back is useless. If the person has a smartphone and can browse the web to get the answer, then they don't need to text in the question they can enter it normally from their mobile web browser.

Would Mahalo Answers offer anything like ChaCha?
With ChaCha you can ask a question on your phone via texting 242242 or calling 800-2ChaCha. I'm wondering if there is a way to call up or text Mahalo Answers and ask a question like this. Would this service be good for Mahalo Answers? Why or why not?

This is a tough call. On the one hand, I just answered in another question that I think the future is in the ability to use Mahalo from our mobile devices, but I dread the text speak that will end up in the questions if users can text them in. In the end, I don't think this feature is necessary. The people that so urgently need to post a question while mobile also need the answer. Texting the question in with no way to get the answers texted back is useless.
