Why does Mahalo not offer suggested results (i.e. "Did you mean: twitter", when you type twiter)?

This feature has been successfully prototyped, but had a fairly low priority for launch. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks ;)

Yes you are right. My opinion on this issue is that Mahalo is new and still in beta stage. In this stage focus is more on core functionality rather than minor issue. There are many sites which do not support this feature though they have left their beta stage. And I hope they will surely implement this...
